For an experience, you’ll savor forever, come cook and dine with our local expert chef!

Enjoy unforgettable cooking experiences led by our talented local chefs in a welcoming, hands-on environment at The Jorgenson. Whether you’re a seasoned cook or trying something new, our participatory classes bring people together through flavor, storytelling, and fresh local ingredients.

Hosted in our modern, open-air studio kitchen, groups of 1–12 guests prepare a three-course meal alongside the chef, learning to craft dishes such as wild Alaska seafood, fresh pasta, or gourmet chocolate specialties. Each session celebrates Alaskan cuisine with expert guidance, creativity, and an atmosphere designed to inspire connection and confidence in the kitchen.

Meals at The Jorgenson

“ I've eaten many meals in Alaska. The Jorgenson House is the best where I have stayed and enjoyed a meal. Great hostess, chef and staff. The menu items were perfectly prepared and presented, some of the best tasting I've ever had anywhere.”

Anniversary Stay at The Jorgenson

We celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary at The Jorgensen. Lorraine our chef lead us through an amazing cooking class. Scallops, halibut and crab cakes that were to die for. Then we spent the night in luxury. Renda was so welcoming and made sure we did not want for anything. The room was so elegant and the breakfast was delicious.

A Glimpse From the Kitchen

Seasonal dishes inspired by Alaska, crafted together at the table.

Every class is shaped by the season, the ingredients, and the people gathered around the table. While menus evolve, past sessions have featured beautifully prepared dishes that celebrate Alaska’s flavors, creativity, and connection. Each experience is designed to feel fresh, relaxed, and deeply satisfying.

(No promises. No rigid menu. Just inspiration.)
