Incredible Accomodations!

Our family of four (mom, dad & kids ages 10 and 17) had the absolute pleasure of staying in The Jorgenson Penthouse last week. Not only was the Penthouse immaculate and beautifully decorated, it had everything we needed to prepare meals, do laundry and relax on the gigantic sofa. Renda has done a magnificent job of creating a lovely sanctuary in Juneau. She also is so incredibly helpful - arranging delicious boxed lunches for outings, dropping off carafes of fresh milk, and recommending tours and activities. We couldn't have enjoyed our stay more. Thank you Renda!!!

Bucket list trip!

Renda and Ashley made our trip something special that we will remember for a lifetime. This was a bucket list trip for my parents (in their 70s) and I tagged along. We stayed in the honeysuckle room which was perfect for us! Ashley took care of our private whale watching tour, Taku lodge dinner and answered one million of my questions prior to visiting. Renda told us about the history of the home and said it has been a Labor of Love and it shows! Her hospitality is a gift and we enjoyed every minute. Chef Amara’s meals were some of the fanciest we’ve ever eaten. Every little detail was spoken for even down to the cute bow tie toilet paper awaiting our arrival! The location is great and an easy walk to the downtown area.

Perfect Couples Getaway

What an amazing time. Perfect chance to get away, sleep in, and eat an incredible breakfast. Luxury room and bath and the perfect space to relax. Renda gave us our choice of breakfast, what a treat. We spent lots of time enjoying the sun room and the fireplace. If you need a space to get away, then spend at least 2 days, we wish we took more time.

Wonderful host and property

Renda is a fabulous host and made her historic family home our home for 10 days. She did everything she could to make our stay incredible, and it was! If I could give it 10 stars, I would. Amara, the personal chef on site, made us incredible breakfasts (and we had a dinner with her that was incredible also). Renda made sure we were taken care of, and as "out of owners" her directions, connections and advice was invaluable. Would I go there again? Will I go there again? Oh, yes. I can't wait for our next trip to Juneau and The Jorgenson House.

Perfect

We recently spent two nights at The Jorgensen B&B and I have no problem saying that the owners have created the perfect B&B. No detail was missed, from the fresh scones and coffee before breakfast, the home baked chocolate chip cookies kept under glass all day, fantastic breakfasts, and as friendly hosts as could be found anywhere. If you are staying in Juneau, you could not go wrong staying here. I would consider the Jorgensen house to be a 5 Diamond Hotel version of a Bed and Breakfast. While I could go on and on about all the fine details of this establishment, I think it would be better to just say you owe it to yourself to experience it first hand. I've travelled quite a bit, stayed at hotels and B&Bs from Alaska to Newfoundland, to Florida, to California, and I've never stayed anywhere that matched the Jorgensen House for cleanliness, comfort, and attention to detail. If there's such a thing as the perfect B&B, this is it.

  • At The Jorgenson, we understand that travel plans can change. As a boutique luxury property, we have a limited number of suites and carefully prepare for each guest’s stay. Because of this, cancellations made within 60 days of arrival will be subject to a 50% charge of the total reservation. Cancellations within 30 days of arrival will be charged the full amount of the reservation. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer refunds for early departures.

    We appreciate your understanding and encourage guests to reach out if they have any questions or need assistance with their reservation.

  • Reservations can be made directly through our website by selecting your desired dates and room type. Alternatively, you can contact our reservations team via phone or email to assist you with the booking process.
